The Ospitalita Italiana Seal is a certification promoted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce to evaluate the quality of the receptive and restorative facilities in Italy. Our humble Trattoria has been awarded this Italian Hospitality Seal meaning that the Italian Pantry has been quality assessed and approved to be an officially endorsed Italian eating establishment outside of Italy using DOP, DOC and IGT products.
Outside Italy, in Australia there are only 65 establishments that qualify for and have been approved to use the seal. The Italian Pantry is the only Tasmanian on the listing where as New South Wales has 28.
This is great news for all Tasmanians as Italy just got closer, you now only need to travel to Murray street for a genuine Italian dining experience.
